JUNIOR SHOOTING SPORTS CLUB (located at Dewey Lowman Post 109 in Halethorpe, MD)
The JSSC includes adult supervision and instructors as well as several highly experienced gun enthusiasts.
The Club meets in Hall B at 6:30 PM on Tuesday evenings.
Objectives
To provide a fun experience to learn firearm safety by:

Providing experienced Oversight and Supervision

Instructing basic marksmanship skills – three positions (standing, kneeling, prone)

Introducing competitive shooting

Assisting in developing an interest in other Shooting Sports
What is Air Rifle Marksmanship?
It is an Olympic Sport. Over one thousand junior sports clubs and 250,000 participants girls and boys compete equally. Participants success comes from motivation and practice – hard work. Participating teaches:
